Press Release (ePRNews.com) - SEWELL, N.J. - Jul 18, 2017 - The Gloucester County Italian Heritage Commission invites food vendors, craft vendors, artisans and exhibitors to participate in the 14th Annual Italian Heritage Festival of Gloucester County. Businesses and corporations looking to expand their visibility and strengthen community relations are also invited to become sponsors of the event.
This year’s festival will be held on Sunday, September 24, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the grounds of the Riverwinds Community Center in West Deptford, NJ. It is free to the public and there is ample free parking. It is a rain or shine event.
The Festival offers a cost-effective way for vendors and businesses to connect with thousands of new customers. Each year, the Festival draws 5,000-10,000 people of all ages and demographics from the tri-state area and beyond.
Vendor spaces are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis. All applications must be submitted by August 15. Interested craft vendors and exhibitors may request an application by emailing Cris Santoro at firstname.lastname@example.org. Food vendors must offer Italian cuisine, and should email Lou Santoro at LRtoro@verizon.net. Interested sponsors should direct their inquiries to Pete Patane at email@example.com.
Fashioned after an Italian street fair, the Festival promises a day of family fun and a great opportunity to experience authentic Italian culture. This year’s entertainment headliner is Fulvio & Sal, a popular Festival favorite. Joining them on the mainstage in their Gloucester County debut are “Delaware’s Top Diva,” mezzo soprano Andrea Arena, performing with leading tenor Dante Fiore. Also returning this year is La Fata Italiana (the Italian Fairy), a favorite of “kids” of all ages, and the Vivaci! Italian Dance Troupe.
Veteran vendor Nino Apadula, of Gianino’s Pastries (https://www.facebook.com/GianinosPastries) of Washington Township, explains, “We love being vendors at the annual Italian Heritage Festival… And while we’re having fun, our table is always crowded and we connect with lots of new customers.”
