Vice Admiral (Ret) Sean Pybus Joins WWC

Press Release ( - TAMPA, Fla. - Mar 06, 2019 - Vice Admiral Sean Pybus has joined Wittenberg Weiner Consulting, LLC (WWC). Vice Admiral Pybus’ 34-year military career in the U.S. Navy culminated in an assignment as the Deputy Commander of U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) from 2014 to 2016.

Vice Admiral Pybus brings to WWC expertise in directing joint and combined special operations, with assignments in Latin America, Asia, Africa, and Europe, with particular experience in interpreting military requirements, developing performance strategy and allocating resources across multiple activities. Vice Admiral Pybus held leadership positions at joint and combined headquarters to include Special Operations Command Pacific, Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii; Naval Special Warfare Command in Coronado, California; NATO Special Operations Forces Headquarters, Mons, Belgium. His extensive special operations experience on SEAL, Underwater Demolition, Special Boat and SEAL Delivery Vehicle tours within NSW provide significant depth to his overall command of the Naval Special Warfare community and landscape.

In April of 2018, WWC was awarded the $375 million Enterprise-wide Training and Exercise Program II (UEWTEP II) contract by USSOCOM and subsequently doubled in size. “We are thrilled to welcome Vice Admiral Pybus to the firm. We are confident that the guidance and counsel he brings to WWC from his distinguished career will aid WWC as it grows from a small business into the mid-sized government contractor of choice,” says Lauren Weiner, CEO of WWC.
