Press Release (ePRNews.com) - WEST BROMWICH, England - May 31, 2016 - The “Debut Ball” initiative saw 67 home grown players (HPG) who made their Premier League debut in 2015/16 presented with a personalised engraved case containing the official match ball. These cases were designed, made and engraved by the display and POS specialist.
Some of the debutants such as Marcus Rashford and Dele Alli – both named in the England squad today -are already household names but all the players valued the presentation case as a tangible recognition of their debut. The scheme saw a massive 24% increase in HPG debuts compared to the 2014/15 season.
The project marked their own Premier League debut for the family-run business more used to working with High Street brands such as Marks and Spencer, Selfridges and Tesco. MD Mike Wright said this week “The ‘Debut Ball’ scheme has helped the Premier League mark the very best in emerging English footballing talent and we were delighted to play our part in its success.”
