Writers Group Resumes Meetings After Nor-Cal Fires, With Session on Crafting Believable Characters
The Writers Resource Center will resume its meetings with a session on how to write believable characters. The group cancelled its last seminar due to the Northern California fires.

Press Release (ePRNews.com) - FAIRFIELD, Calif. - Nov 04, 2017 - The Writers Resource Center (WRC) will resume its monthly seminars next  Saturday, with a session on how to write believable characters.  Last month’s meeting was cancelled due to conditions created by the recent Northern California fires. The class will cover how to use nuance, traits, habits, mannerism and other techniques to make fictional characters come alive.   The event will take place on Saturday, November 11, from 10 am to 12 noon at 1745 Enterprise Drive, Fairfield, room 112.  Everyone attending must RSVP by emailing janiepbess@yahoo.com (mailto:janiepbess@yahoo.com). Members must bring their membership card or certificate. Admission is free for members; others pay a small fee. Complimentary refreshments will be served.

“We’re happy that the air quality has improved enough for our group to start meeting again,” says WRC Founder Janie P. Bess. “We are still praying for all the people who suffered loss as a result of the fires and wishing them the best as they go on with their lives.”

The meeting is part of WRC’s Developing Authors twkyi Series and is open to anyone interested in becoming a writer or improving their work.   Classes include lecture, discussion, writing exercises and critique.  Participants must bring their own writing materials or electronic devices and arrive early for best seating.
