Airtel’s network footprint now extends to over 40 zones within Ladakh, ensuring residents and travelers enjoy reliable connectivity throughout their journeys. This initiative aligns with Airtel’s commitment to providing seamless connectivity in India’s scenic regions of Leh and Ladakh, frequented by thousands of travelers.

Adarsh Verma, COO-Jammu & Kashmir at Bharti Airtel, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating, “We are thrilled to enhance our network experience for customers in the Leh and Ladakh region. This travel season, our customers will enjoy ubiquitous access to high-speed data, opening up a wide range of new opportunities and experiences in these iconic locations.”

Following the enhancement of telecom infrastructure in the Zanskar Valley, Airtel introduced its ultra-fast Airtel 5G service in select areas of Leh, setting a new benchmark for connectivity standards in the region. With the rollout of 5G, travelers can now experience unlimited 5G data while embarking on renowned treks like the Chadar Trek or simply immersing themselves in the natural beauty of the region.
