IBG Capital Partners focus on Singapore with joint venture
Press Release (ePRNews.com) - Hong Kong/CENTRAL DISTRICT - Jun 06, 2017 - IBG Capital Partners today announced that it has received the green light to establish a joint venture in Singapore. Discussions started earlier this year and have now been concluded.
IBG Capital Partners’ Chief Communications Officer, Mr. Eamon O’Neill commented on the venture saying “I am happy that our plans to expand are coming to fruition. 2017 has got off to a great start and now we are already in June and we feel the rest of the year can only get better for IBG Capital Partners.”
IBG Capital Partners, through the new entity, for the first time, will be able to offer a wide range of investment services to domestic mainland Singaporean clients. The new joint venture will be in partnership with a recently established domestic securities firm.
IBG Capital Partners will be brokering and trading in ‘A’ shares and ‘A’ share convertible bonds and will be able to underwrite locally listed ‘A’ share transactions and RMB-denominated corporate bonds and convertible bonds, as well as offer domestic financial advisory and other services.
IBG Capital Partners’ Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Jessica Huang also commented on the announcement, saying “Singapore has, for many years, been of great strategic importance to our firm. With this ground breaking joint venture, we are entering into an exciting new chapter for IBG Capital Partners in Singapore.
