Mayhem Studios Unveils Closed Beta for AAA Title – Underworld Gang Wars
Feb 03, 2024: Mayhem Studios has officially announced the closed beta phase for their highly anticipated battle royale game, “Underworld Gang Wars” (UGW). Following a successful community playtest, the gaming studio is expanding access to a larger audience through the closed beta. Interested gamers can register for the closed beta by filling out the form provided by Mayhem Studios.
Mayhem Studios has also released a cinematic trailer offering a sneak peek into the game, featuring lead characters, different hotspots, and the launch of the closed beta. Since the official game announcement last year, UGW has garnered over 7 million pre-registrations, making it one of the most awaited AAA games. This unique title incorporates Indian elements not only in its theme and characters but also in its hotspots, showcasing a deep connection to India.
The recent Alpha playtests provided valuable feedback on gameplay content and mechanics. In a significant milestone, Mayhem Studios conducted its first community playtest, attended by renowned gamers and content creators such as Dynamo Gaming (Aditya Sawant) and Rawknee (Ronodeep Dasgupta).
UGW is a first-person perspective battle royale game set across 16 unique hotspots representing Indian locations, including the fort, ghats, and mandi. Players choose sides, becoming gang members of either The Velvets or the Bhokal Toli, and have access to a variety of weapons, including innovative choices like the hammer and the Katta.
