“Thanks to our approach, minimizing pain will last longer than conventional massage. The program also helps to help you understand your body, correct structural imbalances and improve your posture,” commented business founder Chris Corrales.
Helping to build confidence and function better, both physically and mentally, are also critical to the program’s success.
Mr Corrales said Structural Integration is a firm but gentle process of manual therapy that uses touch and education to shift old habits, transform deeply ingrained imbalances, and dysfunctional patterns.
“Structural Integration is one of the most effective methods of transforming structure, posture and alignment,” he added. “It underscores our mission to provide you with the highest level of manual medicine in the San Francisco Bay Area.
“We believe that your body is a metaphor and guide that speaks to you in a language that is constantly telling of your relationship with it, and to the people and world around you. This deeper understanding provides you with a powerful mechanism for inner healing and creating more wholesome relationships with others.”
Structural Integration is considered one of the most effective methods of transforming structure, posture and alignment for anxiety chronic low back pain, neck pain, limited range of motion and general improvements in general movement and gait in cerebral palsy.
MedicinEvolution‘s experts have been successful in treating a whole host of conditions from back and neck pain, through to injuries caused by car and motorcycle accidents, as well as RSI, chronic poor posture, scollis, sprains, strains, headaches and sports injuries.
Mr Corrales explained the process begins with a free 15-minute phone consultation leading to an initial first 90-minute session, with recommendations for the 10-week program, with the option of trying a couple of sessions first.
“If a client finds the work has been helpful and they want to experience the complete benefits of structural integration, then the fourth session is the point where I strongly recommend they commit to the ten,” he added.
From there, the sessions work on deep structures and organizing the body’s very core. The program mixes bodywork and education. Homework is customized for a client to deepen their connection to what’s going on in their body.”
