Mar 13, 2024: NetApp, the intelligent data infrastructure company, has unveiled new capabilities aimed at enhancing generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) projects in collaboration with NVIDIA. The partnership aims to provide customers with simplified, secure, and high-performing infrastructure to maximize the potential of AI innovation.

Gen AI has garnered global attention for its ability to automate tasks, uncover insights, and drive product innovation. To harness the full potential of Gen AI, organizations require secure access to high-performance data across complex hybrid and multicloud environments. FlexPod for AI: Extending the leading converged infrastructure solution from NetApp and Cisco to support the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software platform, RedHat OpenShift, and SuSE Rancher, with added scaling and benchmarking for GPU-intensive applications.

Validation for NVIDIA OVX systems: NetApp storage validated for NVIDIA OVX systems, streamlining enterprise AI deployments.

In addition to infrastructure enhancements, NetApp introduced revolutionary cyber-resilience capabilities, including Autonomous Ransomware Protection with AI (ARP/AI), embedding AI/ML in storage to combat ransomware.
