Press Release (ePRNews.com) - Culpeper, VA - Jan 14, 2019 - A fresh approach to customers’ plumbing challenges has helped local businessman Russell Furr to be awarded the Culpeper County Chamber of Commerce’s 2018 Entrepreneur of the Year.
Russell runs Culpeper Home Services, a Culpeper County-based plumber for any related problems.
But it’s his unique approach – offering customers advice and educating them before problems arise – that has enabled the business to become a key contact in the phones of his clients when they have a problem.
Whether it’s blocked toilets, clogged drains, leaky taps or deeper-rooted water leaks, the plucky plumbers of Culpeper will be on call and ready to react to householders’ problems.
It’s Russell’s fresh approach compared to the old school way of doing things, that has seen him merited with the accolade.
He said: “Nobody’s doing what we’re doing. We’re well-dressed and well-spoken. We have in-depth conversations with our clients and get to the root of the issues and find unique ways of solving them. We give multiple options to tackle any situation.

He added: “We believe in serving our community with the highest level of customer service anywhere around.”
He holds certifications in gas-pipe installation systems, backflow, HVAC systems, high-efficiency tankless and hybrid water heaters, home generators, and customer service. And he is also a Generac home-generator dealer.
“To earn referrals and repeat business, you’ve got to be good at your trade, and more,” he said. “It’s all about the customer experience.”
To add to the good news, the company will be opening a new office at 1202 South Main Street, formerly home of Geek Life. It is next to the Kentucky Fried Chicken near State Route 3 and Southgate Shopping Center. The office will open Feb. 1, and an official ribbon-cutting later in the month.
He added: “We have been open for about a year and we really believe that 2019 will be a year to remember. It has already got off to a great start with the Chamber of commerce award and the opening of the new office.
“We are ready and waiting to hear from new customers and help them solve all their plumbing and electrical needs.”
