Rotary Youth Exchange is a reliable source for High School Abroad Programs for students looking for foreign study and travel opportunities after graduation from high school.
Press Release (ePRNews.com) - USA - Jan 07, 2020 - Rotary Youth Exchange has foreign student exchanges down to a science. The organization offers tailored exchanges to students seeking study and travel opportunities abroad soon after graduation from high school. Rotary Youth Exchange relies on the parent organization, Rotary International, to execute safe and learning-oriented exchanges in over 100 countries globally. The exchanges are sponsored by the parent organization, and hence, the offered affordability. The eligibility criteria are simple to allow foreign education and travel for all. The applicant should be 15 to 19 years old and a leader in his/her community with the ability to learn and assimilate.
The spokesperson at Rotary Youth Exchange recently stated, “Rotary Youth Exchange is driven by the idea of multi-culturalism. We expose students to a new way of life in a new country. Once there, the students develop life skills and leadership abilities to stay successful in personal and professional life. Plus, they end up learning a new language, getting familiar with different lifestyles, cultures and faiths, and building lasting bonds. The student evolves into a well-rounded, empathetic, and progressive individual who’s an asset for the family, society and nation. This personality transformation is impossible to achieve in comfort zones.”
Rotary Youth Exchange now focuses on long-term exchanges to help students make the most of the opportunity at hand. Presently, the student has two enrollment options, namely Gap Year Abroad and High School Abroad. Each program is well-curated and well-executed, an ideal blend of travel and education. The programs last for a year during which the student studies in a local school and stays with friendly host families. His/her itchy feet are well catered to with local sightseeing tours to the host country’s best sights, sounds, and smells. The programs ensure the participant’s complete safety throughout with 24/7/365 worldwide emergency assistance.
On the Rotary Youth Exchange High School Abroad program, the spokesperson further stated, “High School Abroad is our flagship, immersion, long-term travel program for boys and girls aged between 15 and 19 years. The program is designed to create bilingual and bicultural individuals with a global purview. The student will be staying with three or more carefully selected and trained host families. The families will not only look after the student but also involve him/her in community and cultural causes. The experience begins a year before the High School Abroad program, as the student has to navigate the application, selection and preparation process via local Rotary Clubs.”
As the High School Abroad Programs are sponsored by Rotary International, students can expect low costs. The program fee comes inclusive of room, board and school fees. However, the student is required to spend additionally on round-trip airfare, travel insurance, travel documents, such as passports and visas, and local tours. The student can rely on local Rotary Clubs for any inquiries or assistance in application and preparation. About Rotary Youth Exchange:
