Samsung Launches Galaxy XCover7: A Rugged Enterprise Smartphone Designed for Enhanced Productivity
Feb 07, 2024: Samsung, India’s leading consumer electronics brand, has unveiled its first enterprise-focused smartphone, the Galaxy XCover7. Engineered to withstand extreme conditions, the Galaxy XCover7 blends military-grade durability with advanced features to deliver unparalleled usability and productivity for professionals.
Crafted in India, the Galaxy XCover7 offers advanced 5G connectivity and an upgraded mobile processor for enhanced mobility and performance. Notably, the device features increased touch sensitivity, enabling usage even with gloves on, along with a replaceable battery for convenient and quick charging.
Designed with the needs of enterprise users in mind, the Samsung Galaxy XCover7 includes a programmable key for customizable shortcuts, such as push-to-talk, barcode scanning, and quick access to specific applications. The device is available in two variants: the Galaxy XCover7 Enterprise Edition and Standard Edition, both engineered with cutting-edge technologies to withstand tough weather conditions.
Equipped with military-grade durability (MIL-STD-810H) standards, the Galaxy XCover7 boasts a robust case and fortified glass display, ensuring resistance to water, dust, and drops of up to 1.5 meters. The smartphone features an immersive wide-screen display for enhanced visual clarity, complemented by Knox Vault technology to protect critical data.

The Galaxy XCover7 Enterprise Edition comes with a 12-month subscription of Knox Suite, offering tools to secure, deploy, and manage devices throughout their life cycle. Both editions of the smartphone are backed by warranties, with the Standard Edition offering a 1-year warranty and the Enterprise Edition offering a 2-year warranty.
Corporate and institutional customers can purchase the Galaxy XCover7 via Samsung.com and the online EPP portal. The Standard and Enterprise Editions are priced at INR 27,208 and INR 27,530, respectively. Bulk purchases can be made through Samsung’s business portal.
