Press Release (ePRNews.com) - New York, NY - Jun 20, 2025 - Pacific Peak Capital Partners LTD announced the launch of the Global Foundations Initiative, a new philanthropic program led by Sebastian Hatherleigh to advance financial literacy and investment education for underserved youth across Europe and Southeast Asia.
Hatherleigh, a long-time advocate for inclusive economic empowerment, will serve as the founding chair of the initiative, which aims to bridge educational gaps by providing structured training in personal finance, investment principles, and capital markets to students aged 15–22.
“Financial knowledge should never be a privilege. It is a tool for independence, security, and social mobility,” said Sebastian Hatherleigh. “This initiative is about unlocking that potential where it’s needed most.”
The program will roll out in partnership with local universities, NGOs, and teacher training bodies. Pilot modules will launch this autumn in London, Jakarta, and Warsaw, covering topics such as:
- Understanding saving, credit, and debt
- Introduction to long-term investing and portfolio basics
- Risk management and inflation
- Ethical finance and responsible decision-making
In addition to scholarships and curriculum development grants, the Global Foundations Initiative will also support teacher workshops, bilingual materials, and mentorship programs led by financial professionals from Pacific Peak Capital Partners LTD and its partner network.
