WinZO Unleashes “Bharat Tech Triumph” Initiative to Propel Made in India Technology Globally

New Delhi, India, Jan 17, 2024: WinZO, India’s leading vernacular interactive entertainment platform with a user base exceeding 175 million across Bharat, has introduced the groundbreaking ‘Bharat Tech Triumph’ initiative. Geared towards elevating the global export of culturally relevant games and associated technology originating from Bharat, this initiative aims to support homegrown startups, foster intellectual property creation, and align with PM Modi’s vision of “First Be Vocal For Local, Then Go Global.”

Key Highlights:

Global Platform for Homegrown Tech: The ‘Bharat Tech Triumph’ initiative is focused on expanding the reach of consumer tech and gaming companies from India on a global scale. It strives to provide resources and access to Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to nurture the growth of indigenous startups.

Technological Innovation for Economic Growth: WinZO seeks to boost India’s economic growth by encouraging exports in the entertainment sector and fostering innovation in real-time communication, high-speed computation, and managing the scale of billion consumers concurrently.

Intellectual Property Creation: The program intends to foster intellectual property creation, generate employment opportunities, attract investments, and contribute significantly to the nation’s GDP and startup ecosystem.

Deep Tech Research Support: WinZO plans to support research in deep tech areas such as social gaming and cybersecurity. It will provide essential components like infrastructure, collaborative opportunities, funding, and access to real-world data.

High-Speed Computing Services: Collaborators under this initiative will have access to high-speed computing services and ultra-low-latency real-time game engines for large-scale operations.

Global Partnerships: WinZO has partnered with industry veterans and organizations, including Kalaari Capital, Lumikai, CleverTap, AWS, and the Telangana VFX, Animation, and Gaming Association (TVAGA), to identify and support high-potential technologies.

Global Showcase at Game Developers’ Conference: To establish a global footprint, select companies under the initiative will be facilitated to become part of the first-ever India Pavilion at the Game Developers’ Conference in San Francisco in March ’24. This initiative aims to offer gaming developers opportunities to represent themselves in leading global markets.
