As the name suggests, RBI Assistant Exam is conducted by the RBI every year. 2.  Prepare the entire syllabus & focus on important topics

You need to through the entire syllabus but focus on the important topics more. Brush up on important details, memorize formulas, equations, concepts, dates, and more. It will train your mind to deal with the exam-like situation and increase your speed. Don’t’ forget, the last 2-3 days are very crucial for revision, practicing, and it may either ace or ruin your last-minute preparation.

3.  Work on your Speed and Accuracy

The quantitative Aptitude section is one of the lengthy and time taking sections of IBPS PO. Therefore, you need to focus on both the speed and the accuracy so that you can finish all the questions within the stipulated time. Making the second guess for the answers need more time and can prove harmful, so it is better to practice answering the questions in one go and revise at the end. For instance, if any question requires lengthy calculations, you can mark it for later review and come back to it after you have solved the other questions and if time allows.

4.  Learn basic Formulas and Tables Again

Give a quick revision to all the formulas and tables that you have prepared. They always play a major role in implementing time management and enhancing speed. So, it becomes mandatory to practice them down or apply them randomly to experience their power in the actual Exam.

5.  Build a perfect Exam-time strategy

Make sure you go to the Exam with a good Exam strategy. It will help you in attempting every question. For that, you need to make up your mind to skip questions you could get stuck on, and return to them later to complete the Exam. You need to skip every tough question that stumps you and attempt every question you feel you can answer quickly. For instance, if a minute slipped away and you still can’t answer a question, you should immediately skip it. If you keep mulling it over, you may naturally run out of time. So, you need to go through the Exam and try to do all the questions you know right away first, and then you will have loads of time to work out harder questions if this strategy goes well. And it will go well with regular practice.

6.  Go through Previous year questions

Before you start preparation, you must go through the previous year’s papers. Every topic requires a different strategy and different approaches. There will be certain topics that you feel confident in; there will also be topics that you might be weak in. Previous year’s papers enable you to target and approach each topic strategically. Get an understanding of the way in which questions will be asked.
