One of the first Superstars of Color in the Adult Film Industry, FM Bradley passed away on November 29th in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 69

Veal, who would later adopt the names FM Bradley, Marshall Brad and Field Marshall Bradley as a star performer in the 1980s adult film industry, born December 8, 1953 in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on November 19, 2023. He was 69 years old.
Bradley was born into a family with a musical legacy in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1953 to the late Rosemary Johnson Veal Mclean and the late Charles Veal Sr. He was the youngest of two sons, his brother being the late violinist Charles Veal, Jr. His parents divorced and his mother remarried the late Ernest McLean, who was a well known New Orleans guitarist and later Walt Disney’s last personal hire, playing guitar at New Orleans Square. The family later welcomed a daughter, his sister the late Jeanine Angel McLean Bradley was raised primarily in New Orleans and as a teenager his family moved to Los Angeles where he attended Crenshaw High School, graduating in 1971. His uncle, the late Billy Diamond, was a bassist and manager who later assembled and managed a band for Bradley called the Revolution in the 1970s where Bradley was lead singer and bassist. Also a formidable dancer, Bradley was a dance instructor teaching New Orleans second line dance styles in California as well as “pop locking”.
In the 1980s, Bradley entered the adult film industry and starred in over 170 films, as well as working behind the scenes as a cameraman, alongside stars such as Nina Hartley and Traci Lords. A list of films can be found at https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0103121/.
Bradley retired from the industry and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. He was married twice, once to the late Joanne, welcoming a son (Marcus), and later married the late Sherry Veal.
He was preceded by his parents, the late Rosemary Johnson Veal McLean, the late Charles Veal Sr, his step father the late Ernest McLean, his brother the late Charles Veal, Jr, his sister the late Jeanine Angel “GiGi” McLean, and his wives the late Jo Ann Veal, and the late Sherry Veal, his granddaughter the late Kamari Veal and grandson the late Marcus Veal, Jr. He is survived by his son, Marcus Veal of Las Vegas, Nevada, granddaughter Ava Jo Ann Veal, first cousins Tricia Diamond of Seattle, Washington and Tracie Diamond of Ann Arbor, Michigan, cousins Steven Diamond and Jameson Diamond of Seattle, WA.
