Fuzziwig's Candy Factory Opens in Dubai, UAE

Press Release (ePRNews.com) - JUMEIRAH, UAE - Oct 05, 2016 - Retail candy and specialty toy franchiser, Fuzziwig’s Candy Factory, Inc. announces a new store opening in Dubai, UAE.  This will be the first of several stores Momair Trading, LLC and Momair Candies, LLC owners Mazen Omair and Rana Batterjee plan to open throughout the GCC.

The first store opened on September 7^th with a location at the popular “Beach at Jumeriah” on the Persian Gulf Coast.  This 1.7-kilometer strip offers beautiful views of the white sandy beach and endless storefronts filled with, restaurants, tourist activities and amazing shopping and entertainment options.

The second location will open on October 31^st at Riverland, which is a new streetmosphere experience that allows you to “embark on a journey through time”. The Fuzziwig’s Candy Factory will be located in the Board Walk streetmosphere. Riverland will be nestled in the diversely themed Dubai Parks which also includes LEGOLAND® DUBAI, LEGOLAND® Water Park, Bollywood Parks™ DUBAI, motiongate™ DUBAI, and Lapita™ DUBAI.

The owners of Momair Trading, LLC and Momair Candies, LLC, Mazen Omair and Rana Batterjee are not new to franchising. The couple own and operate several Subway franchises in the UAE.  According to Mr. Omair, Momair Trading, is “highly specialized in establishing and operating Food & Beverage franchises in the UAE [United Arab Emirates]”. After watching a food channel profile on sweets the inspiration to open a chain of candy stores was born. After in depth research, including a trip to Colorado to tour stores and meet the principals of Fuzziwig’s Candy Factory, Inc. the Omair’s determined that Fuzziwig’s Candy Factory was the concept they had been looking for to introduce to Dubai, the balance of the UAE and GCC.

The retail candy store is fun and whimsical with bright colors, smells of caramel and fudge, and pieces that imitate a candy factory decorate the store.

The amusement park like atmosphere is for children and adults to enjoy while they shop over 1,000 varieties of conventional, unusual, and nostalgic candies. The store will also provide store-made chocolates, fudge, and caramel apples along with chocolate covered strawberries and dried fruits. And what is a store without its own branded items? They also host Fuzzidrinks, Fuzzicones, and Fuzzicoffee!

Dubai, where the first stores will open is ranked in the top 10 tourist destinations in the world. The couple is planning on opening a minimum of 10 new storefronts over the course of the next few years in high profile tourist destinations along with the top tier mall shopping centers. In addition to having their own stores operated by Momair Candy, LLC Momair Trading, LLC is the Master Franchisee for the GCC and will be expanding the Fuzziwig’s Candy Factory brand throughout the region.
