·         The first step is you need to sign-up or sign-into a Google+ account or go to https://hangouts.google.com. And if you have the Hangouts Google chrome extension installed then hangouts will open in a new window

·         Now at the top of it click on New conversation

·         Here enter and select a name or email address you want to connect

·         Now you can type your message; additionally you can also use various emojis, photos and your location too

·         Then on your keyboard simply press Enter
