The inaugural service was introduced at Galgotias University in Greater Noida, marking a significant step in LG’s foray into the Commercial Washing Machine Multi-Housing business.

The ceremony, attended by esteemed dignitaries including Mr. Baek, Executive Vice President, Living Solutions, LG Electronics, and Mr. Jeon, Managing Director of LG Electronics India, among others, marked the official launch of the self-laundry facility. Serving 1500 students, this initiative aims to enhance convenience and streamline laundry processes for university residents.

Through the ‘Laundry Crew’ application, students can easily reserve, operate, and make automated payments for LG Commercial Washing Machines, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free experience. This user-friendly interface reflects LG’s commitment to leveraging technology to simplify daily tasks and improve consumer lifestyles.

Mr. Hong Ju Jeon, MD of LG Electronics India, expressed the company’s dedication to enhancing consumer lifestyles through innovation. He announced a USD 4 million investment in this venture, with plans to establish 200 self-laundry service centers by the end of 2024. This ambitious expansion underscores LG’s commitment to providing convenient solutions that cater to the evolving needs of consumers.
