Manor Real Estate Sells Former School Building to KIPP St. Louis

LOUIS - May 19, 2017 - Ben Cherry, CCIM of Manor Real Estate represented Schoolhouse Finance, LLC in the sale of a 66,644 S.F. former school building located at 1409 Linton Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63107 to KIPP St. Louis. KIPP was represented by Susan Sauer of Rome West, LLC. The sale price of the property was $1,150,000 which represents $17.26/S.F.

The building formerly operated as the “Success School” for Imagine Schools. Prior to that, it was the Lowell School which is on the National Registry of Historic Places. The building was built in 1926.

KIPP is the ideal new owner and steward for the property. Once operational, this school will do wonders for the neighborhood and surrounding areas,” Cherry said.
