Uber offers in-person assistance for drivers with their own vehicles or using TLC cars for rent.

Press Release (ePRNews.com) - New York, NY - Feb 26, 2020 - One of the annoying aspects of being an Uber driver is trying to reach the company when you have a question or need assistance. This is especially true in larger cities where the support level can be quite slow. For Uber drivers who own their vehicles or use TLC car rental, this can be problematic when you have a real issue.

What makes it worse is that when you use email support, the answers are often cut and pasted from the Uber frequently asked questions page. But there is a way to get into contact with someone from Uber quickly when you have issues.

Greenlight Hubs

If you need a quick resolution to an issue, Greenlight Hubs offers a real person from Uber to speak with you. They will listen to your problem and provide answers to your questions about your account, getting fare adjustments, help with documents, application to drive, reasons for why you were deactivated, getting reactivated, and so forth.

However, these hubs are not available in all locations. But there are ways to find them in case you need direct support.

– Go to help.uber.com

– Find the “For Partners” section in the menu

– Click “Select a City”

– Enter “greenlight” or “in person help” in the search bar

– This will bring up the “Getting in-person activation and support help” article

That page will provide information on you getting a hold of a person in Uber through their Greenlight Hubs. If you do not have access to a computer and want to go through the Uber Driver app, you’ll need to do the following:

– Tap Profile Image

– Go to Help, then Signing Up

– Creating an Account and finally Getting in-person activation and support help

This is the same page as the one which appears through help.uber.com. Because the app does not have a search feature, going through the website may be faster. You can also use Google to get through if you follow this path.

– Google search for Uber Driver, then enter your city

– You should see a “uber.com/drive/ and your city listed

– Visit page and find Contact Uber link

And if that does not work, you can manually enter the URL. For example, if you live in Seattle, you will type in “uber.com/driver/seattle” and find the Drive With Uber page that has the Contact Uber link.

Schedule Appointment

If you enter a date and time for an appointment, this has the advantage of scheduling your meeting at a convenient time. Plus, it avoids having to wait up to 30 minutes if you need to speak to someone without an appointment.

For those own their vehicles or have TLC cars for rent who are Uber drivers that need direct assistance, Greenlight Hubs is the answer. This assumes it is available in your city as the program is not quite across the country as yet. This means for those who use TLC rental cars or drive their own vehicles, Greenlight Hubs offers direct, in-person answers to your questions.
