Pew’s Research on Internet Access:

Everybody loves to use mobile-friendly apps and website, so that they can be completely attentive and focused while using it. According to the new report of Pew Research, some additional and considerable points were highlighted. The report is based on the feedback of 1500 US adults. Pew focused on the recent access to the internet along with the habits of using mobile. He found that mobiles are being used greatly, particularly among the younger generation and people with low income.

Social apps, a big reason for greater usage:

One of the main reasons for increased activity on mobile phones is the social media apps such as Facebook, Instagram, etc. Increasing the number of Instagram followers, Facebook friends, etc. is all that the youngsters are concerned about nowadays.

Increase in mobile usage due to internet:

At first, it was founded by Pew that almost 37% of adults of the US use their phones greatly due to the accessibility of the internet. This made the rate double moving from 2013 to 2019. The biggest increase is in youngsters over this period. Younger adults say that they use their smartphones when they want to go online. It has been estimated that 58% of people of age 18 to 29mostly go online through their personal smartphones. The rate has been increased from 41% in 2013 to 58% in 2019. There is evidence in increased usage, for example, in the year 2013, 24% of people aged 30 to 49 years old, say that they go online through their smartphones but now the rate is doubled to 47%.

This growth is expected to be increasing with the passage of time as long as smartphones and their technology of connection improve. This will lessen the importance of other means to go online.

Smartphones filling the gaps of connection:

The most interesting thing that has been founded by Pew regarding cost is that smartphones play a role of a bridge between the gaps of connectivity, at least for some Americans who are without any traditional broadband. Overall in America, there are only 17% of people who use their smartphones but haven’t subscribed to broadband services of the internet at their homes. Since 2013, this rate has roughly doubled.

In accordance with Pew’s report and data, there are almost 45% non- broadband adopters. According to them, they have very low-speed internet in their homes and they do whatever they want to do online on their mobiles. This will increase with increasing and improving mobile connectivity technology.

Income greatly related to the purchase of smartphones:

Among the highest income regions, the adoption of smartphones is also the highest. According to Pew’s research, people having lower income face a tough time purchasing brand-new technology. With the marketing standpoint review, on equating such people, they are not as reachable on smartphones devices.

On overall research on income status, technology adoption may be lower. But, improvements in mobile devices offer to be superseding the alternative needs. If anyone wants to be connected with the audience of lower-income, mobile will be the best option one can have.
