Press Release (ePRNews.com) - ELLESMERE PORT, England - Aug 08, 2016 - L&R Roadlines, one of the UK’s leading road marking and surfacing contractors, provided new track markings at CarFest North, which took place at Bolesworth, Cheshire on 29-31st July.  This annual event was founded in 2012 by presenter Chris Evans to support BBC Children In Need and features a mixture of cars, food, drink and live music.  To date, it has been attended by more than 337,000 visitors raising over £6 million.

According to John Campbell, Contracts Supervisor at L&R Roadlines:  “We are delighted to have supported BBC Children in Need at CarFest North, helping to ensure that the track met the highest safety standards and contributing towards the overall success of the event.”

L&R Roadlines installed 2.5km of temporary edge lines on a new section of track which had been laid to join up with the existing roadway to provide a visual guide to drivers during high-speed displays of some of the world’s most exotic supercars.  The lines helped to enhance safety throughout the event as well as helping to protect against damage to these valuable vehicles during the demonstrations.  The lines were installed on the Wednesday night prior to the event and water-based paint was used to ensure that they quickly faded to meet the specific requirements of the Bolesworth Estate.
