Denis Welch Motorsport launches new 2017 Jaguar E-Type Performance Parts Catalogue

Press Release (ePRNews.com) - BURTON ON TRENT, England - Sep 19, 2016 - The eagerly awaited 2017 Jaguar E-Type Performance catalogue from Denis Welch Motorsport has now been released. It’s been 7 years since the last edition and the 2017 version sees the addition of 28 extra pages and hundreds of new performance enhancing products for Jaguar E-Type 6 cylinder models, both road and competition.

Racing and high performance enthusiasts demand only the very best parts. The availability and suitability of original parts, which can be hard to obtain, can compromise performance and reliability when it matters most. Initially focusing on Austin Healey models, Denis Welch Motorsport have more recently been at the forefront of product development for Jaguar E-Type. Product development grew out of the realisation that component failures could be seen time and again. Just as with Austin Healey beforehand, new parts have been designed and manufactured to be

‘Better than Original’ but without damaging the cars irreplaceable heritage.

One such example of this quest for perfection has been the torsion bar reaction plate. A fresh approach was taken using CAD and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to produce this off the shelf kit which makes it straight forward to accurately adjust and achieve the desired ride height. The Reaction Plate is made from top quality steel and heat treated for extra strength. The end product is a greatly improved replacement over the original, with a new design which is considerably lighter and up to four times stronger than others currently on the market.

2016 is already proving to be a good year with the Denis Welch Motorsport built and prepared Low Drag E-Type of Julian Thomas driven to four race victories in the five race Jaguar Classic Challenge series. Much of the success can be attributed to the performance parts which have been fitted to the car.

Wide Angle and Straight Port CNC Machined Cylinder Heads

Increased investment in CAD software has allowed the Denis Welch CAD team to redraw the head in 3D as a solid model, producing all new technical drawings – including fully modelling and drawing the inlet and exhaust ports.

3.8 and 4.2 wide and angle and straight port heads available from £9950-00+VAT.

4.2 All Synchro Bell Housing

Made using Denis Welch Motorsport’s own pattern equipment these are cast in top quality Aluminium or Magnesium, both heat treated and superior to the original in terms of strength and accuracy of alignment.

Available with a variety of options for starter type and a choice to suit 4.2 ring gear as well as 3.8. These fit any 4.2 all synchro gearbox.

Competition Front and Rear Anti Roll Bars

Both front and rear ARB’s are made to DWM’s own design. The rear ARB’s mount to the original chassis and radius arm points and are the correct width to suit the wider LWE track. The rears link to the furthermost point out on the wishbone. Many sizes available to allow for tuning from track to track and both can be swapped in just a few minutes.

Rear anti roll bars are priced at £130-00 +VAT and fronts at £185-00 +VAT. Fitting kits and mounts are also available which come complete with rose joints, cones etc.

Stainless Steel Exhausts

Denis Welch Motorsport now offers a range of exhaust parts in high-grade T304 stainless steel. Stainless steel exhausts are ideal for the weight conscious as the components are typically lighter than the mild steel equivalent. They are also a popular fitment due to their, clean appearance and resistance to corrosion. All of the stainless silencers are re-stuffable and stuffing material kits are also available. Components include tubular manifolds, side exit silencer and 3 rear silencer options.
